On Monday, we will be hosting a free drop-in workshop and collective art experience by ultra talented artist and organizers Adrian Cato @yoooadriiann and Sara Inacio @sarainacioart —the curators and creators of zine “Solastagia,” recently offered at Small Format as a part of the current art exhibit.

Assemblages will ask participants to think as holobionts - a term explored in Solastalgia, referring to organisms that are not anatomically and genetically individuals, but exist as “more than one, a term, a consortia.”

Through printmaking, you’ll be invited to learn, imagine, and create a collective art work using hand carved stamps that will be displayed at Small Format for the remainder of the “Collective Memory” exhibit. This workshop is free ✨

Participants will be asked to think critically about the question: How are you a part of another and how is another a part of you?
